Writers will have their work read by professional actors in front of a live audience. Each piece will receive valuable criticism and commentary from a rotating panel of local industry insiders.
Stage, screen and animation scripts may be submitted for consideration to: submissions@finaldraught.com (PDF, Word or Final Draft formats are preferred)
Writers are encouraged to attend a reading and drop off scripts in person as well. We are willing to read any script on any topic and for any medium. Our priority is to present scripts which are in the process of development. Due to demand and time limitations, we are not able to read every script that is submitted.
We prefer to extract sections of works longer than 30 pages, but have made exceptions to this in the past. Submit, suggest and see what happens.
Writers of accepted scripts will be contacted to arrange scheduling for their piece. Writers should feel free to submit as many scripts as they want, or to resubmit work that has been extensively rewritten.
